Starkold were appointed the logistics and hoarding contractor for Mace Group for this project which ran from January 2018 to June 2019, which as a whole had a combined package value to Starkold of £1.4m.
The hoarding package involved erecting free-standing hoarding across much of the car-park at the same time, where at one stage in the project we had installed over 1000m of timber hoarding at one stage, in addition to temporary fencing and barriers.
The logistics package was challenging as it continued as a live trading shopping outlet, with all bulk deliveries having to be instructed, marshalled and unloaded before 10am each day.
The client also specified all delivery vehicles over 3.5T’s to be FORS Silver accredited, which we ensured was the case for our own vehicles and with our traffic marshal’s checking other subcontractors.
