So this year, Neil decided to attempt the Great North Run for the very first time, and what an experience it was. Cheered on by the amazing people of the north east along with the supporting teams from Heel and Toe, he managed to complete it in a respectable time of 2:09.
“The final 3 miles were pure hell and felt like I was going backwards, the sunburn on my neck and shoulders getting ever so painful the further I ran. However, all in all we managed to raise a fantastic £500 for our chosen charity Heel and Toe. Many thanks to everybody that supported this charity event, bring on the next challenge!”
